This Army couple has a self described Nicolas Sparks-esque romance. Samantha states, “We have a love story right out of ‘The Notebook.'” Samantha actually knew Chris’s brother long before she met him. Meeting in high school the two began to date. They were separated when Chris went off to basic training. He wrote to her every day. But just like in “The Notebook,” Samantha didn’t receive all of Chris’s letters to her although she did receive some. After some time went by her and Chris were able to rekindle their relationship. Their love is the kind that is sure to last a lifetime. We love their choice of having a military engagement session. They are planning an indoor barn ceremony for next month.
