Choosing wedding colors and a theme can be a difficult task for any bride-to-be. Today, we hope to provide some inspiration with this Botanical Wedding Inspiration shoot entirely inspired by the color purple!
Purple has represented royalty and elegance for centuries, with strong ties to Queen Victoria’s love of lavender blooms in the age of Victorian England. While Queen Victoria didn’t attend this wedding, she clearly could have as it was fit for a Queen. The Bride stunned in a Naomi tulle ball gown by Wtoo with a sheer illusion neckline and back, vine-inspired earrings, and gorgeous floral shoes to add a pop of color! The groom looked very royal himself in his light grey suit paired with a lavender tie and brown accessories.
Timeless and modern elements were incorporated throughout from antique silver candlestick holders and a treasured Victorian era silver platter, to bright silver accents, clear glass apothecary jars, and purple crackle stemware. The dessert table featured purple French macaroons, cupcakes, and a royal inspired tier cake to delight not only the guest’s eyes, but their taste buds as well!
And while the West Bottoms location in Kansas City had an urban feel at the start, after the design team was finished with it, it eluded elegance and modern botanical royalty. The accent wall was highlighted by affixing lush green vines underneath the exposed brick heart creating a romantic backdrop for the head table and portraits.
Now, go break out your tiara’s and pop the champagne while you look through this gorgeous royal inspired shoot!
