Angela & Corey are two love birds who love cuddling up watching movies, and enjoy frequent outings to their favorite pizzeria. While Corey often works away six weeks at a time, it only manages to bring their bond closer and solidifies the fact that they truly can’t live without each other. After Corey popped the question during a cruise to the Bahamas, they decided to do a sunrise beach engagement session with Michelle Mock Photography.
How Did You Meet?
We met at “A Little Bit of Texas”, a country bar in El Paso, TX. Corey was stationed in the Army in my town. Corey came up behind me and asked me to dance. He repeatedly kept asking me to dance the rest of the night and insisted we see each other again the next day. We have been inseparable since.
What Was Your First Date Like?
He took me to the movies on his motorcycle and out for Krispy Kreme donuts afterwards. It was fun and we clicked right away.
When Did You Know She Was the One? How Long Had You Planned to Propose Before You Finally Popped the Question?
I had been planning the proposal for a couple weeks. I knew she was the one when I went to truck driving school and began driving over the road. I realized I never wanted to be apart from her and wanted to make her officially mine.
How Did He Propose?
We were on a cruise to the Bahamas and he was teaching me craps in the Casino onboard. The dealer asked me to grab my chips and when I looked there was a box opened with a ring on the craps table. I was so surprised!
Can You Tell Us a Little Bit About Your Wedding Plans So Far?
We are having an outside wedding next to the beach at the Crowne Plaza. It is mostly going to be family with a few close friends since our family and friends are mostly in North Carolina and Texas. Our wedding date is April 18, 2015.
