I love this beautiful San Francisco engagement shoot. It’s the perfect combination of classic, and fun for these two love birds.
I especially love the contrast between the blue skies and Megan’s sexy/classic little black dress.
Thanks to Stephanie Court Photography for sharing these beautiful images.
Stay tuned for Megan & Anthony’s wedding feature.
How did you meet?
We met the first day Megan moved from Baltimore to San Francisco to start her medical residency program. She didn’t know anyone in the area other than an old friend from high school who invited her to come to an intramural volleyball game as a break from unpacking. Anthony was on her volleyball team and they clicked instantly. Their mutual friend then invited them on a kayaking trip the following day and put them in a kayak together. She later admitted that she was trying to set them up! They went on their first official date the next week!
How did he propose?
Anthony planned an entire day re-living many of our favorite dates. First, we went to brunch at our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Then, we went to the Japanese tea garden in Golden Gate Park where we had tea in the teahouse and reminisced on our recent vacation to Japan. He then drove her out to Muir woods where he had driven the night before to hide a heart sign with our initials on it behind a redwood tree on a deserted trail. He proposed at that spot in Muir woods, which is also where we had one of our first dates. We then celebrated with dinner at our favorite restaurant in San Francisco.
Tell us about the ring!
Anthony picked a classic brilliant cut diamond solitaire ring, which Megan loves!
