I couldn’t be anymore in love with these images if I tried. I’m a sap for a beautiful couple, dogs, a gorgeous ring, and there’s even a touch of Munich in this one (keep reading to see what I’m talking about). Theresa & Mark were engaged in November after he took her on a perfect date in one of their favorite cities, Cincinnati. For their engagement session , the talented Jo Photo was able to capture them enjoying a perfect evening date!
Engaged Since: November 30, 2013
How did you two meet?
We met after a UT football game. I was with a few of my friends and saw him standing at the other side of the restaurant. We made eye contact and I decided that I would wave at him!! He looked a little confused but decided to come over and said “Do I know you?” & I looked up and said “No, but do you want to sit down?” Ever since then we have been together.
How did he propose?
I was about to start studying for finals for Vet School and Marc surprised me with a weekend getaway at the last minute to one of our favorites places, Cincinnati, OH. There is a place there called the Hofbrauhaus that is our favorite German brew house to go to. We ate dinner, had a couple beers, walked around the pier, went to see a comedy show, and then late that evening when it was just the two of us alone he popped the question!! I will be honest, I had a feeling when we left that he would propose, but as the night went on I assumed he just wanted to get me away to distress before my finals, so when he did propose I was completely surprised!!
Tell us about the ring!
My fiancé really spoiled me with this one!! He got me a Tacori ring, the one I have been dreaming about. It is everything I could have dreamed of in a ring and the details are so amazing with a slight vintage touch!!
Have you set a wedding date and location?
Our wedding date is August 2, 2014 at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
Can you tell us a little bit about your wedding plans so far?
Our wedding is going to be summer rustic style! Our colors are khaki, mint green & pops of coral. We want our wedding to be a big celebration, fun and memorable. One thing I am excited about are the bistro lights hanging over the pergola garden area where we will have the bar made out of whiskey barrels!! We will be married outside over looking the rolling hills of TN with the reception inside a gorgeous reception hall with a beautiful fireplace and chandlers where we will party the night away!!
